NAEYC is the organization I choose to subscribe too. I am a little familiar with NAEYC, but as I continue to do my research I always tend to find something different that I am able to use throughout my courses in school, and with my career.
This week I received an email from the NAEYC website that has
"23 Ways You Know You're a Preschool( Infant/Toddler) Teacher".
It was very funny because as an educator you see yourself doing a lot of these things. I will post the link below, and I hope you guys enjoy it as much as I did.

Being in the early childhood field I really enjoy this site, because it gives you so much information that can be implemented into your whole entire day of teaching. It gives great resources and even project ideas. They even have different links for parents to understand their child and the different behaviors they are experiencing.
Stacey,
ReplyDeleteNAEYC is the greatest tool for early childhood educator to have in the classroom or reference tool. They provide you with informational ideas and if you have the opportunity to attend a training I highly suggest and also become a member.
Thanks for sharing,

Hello Stacey,
ReplyDeleteI also chose this organization for the exact reasons and am a member as well. I enjoyed reading the link you posted and find myself doing someone of the items listed. In fact my husband thinks it so weird but I can't help it its a part of me. I just applied to their newsletter as well and look forward to receiving the latest information.
Hi Stacey, like you, NAEYC never stops to amaze me. You can found useful tips and information related to every aspect of the early childhood field. I will definitely keep NAEYC as a constant resource to stay current once I open my childcare center.
